Privacy

This page explains what personal information The Monctonian collects and how we use it.

What we collect

• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name.
• Reading statistics: we count how many times each article is read so we know what readers find useful. We do not sell this information.
• Server records: like most websites, our servers keep short-term technical records, such as internet addresses, to keep the site secure and stop abuse.

How we use it

We use your email address only to send the newsletter you asked for and, occasionally, important notices about it. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. We never sell or rent your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to host our website and send our emails. They may only use your information to provide those services to us.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time and ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by writing to the contact address at the bottom of this page.
